Xiaomi Redmi K70 Series Rumours, Specs, Design, Launch Date And More
We are in the last quarter of the year 2023 and the giant tech company Xiaomi has already introduced us to its latest flagship devices from the Xiaomi 14 series.
And now, by the looks of things, it seems to be the turn of its sub-brand Redmi to reveal its brand-new K series smartphones. Just like last year the Xiaomi Redmi K70 lineup will include three models which are Redmi K70E, Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro.

There have been so many rumours concerning the Redmi K70 trio ever since we entered the second half of the year, and as we are nearing the official release date of the trio even the design of the phone has been leaked.
Xiaomi Redmi K70 Series Design
The shared renderings as well as alleged real-life images of the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro reveal the rectangular camera module on the rear and flat display design.
The leaks also reveal that the handset (Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro) could also be available in Black and White choices

Xiaomi Redmi K70E Rumoured Specifications
The E version of the Redmi K series was first introduced yesteryear as part of the family of the K60 lineup. According to leaks and rumours, the company seems to have not given up on it, its successor is reportedly launching alongside Redmi K70 and K70 Pro.
The Xiaomi Redmi K70E, with model number 23117RK66C, is said to be armed with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, a sub-premium processor from MediaTek and a successor to the Dimensity 8200 processor.

Speaking of battery specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi K70E is said to feature a higher-capacity 5,500mAh battery and 90W fast wired charging. Since its predecessor features the same battery but supports 67W fast charging, we expect a decrease in the charging time for the upcoming Redmi K70E as it will feature a more advanced 90W wire charging technology.
Regarding the build materials, the Xiaomi Redmi K70E is reportedly built using a plastic frame.
Xiaomi Redmi K70 Rumoured Specifications
The Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro (2311DRK48C) will reportedly run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It is not a surprise as in the last two years, the firm launched the regular Redmi K60 and K40 models equipped with Snapdragon 8 series processors.
The handset is said to pack up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
When it comes to software, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 is reportedly to be coming with Xiaomi’s latest version of OS which is based on Android 14:HyperOS 1.0. This model won’t be the only one running it, Redmi K70E and K70 Pro are also expected to come preloaded with it.
As far as display goes, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 will flaunt a 2K OLED display meaning around 6.67 inches. The maximum refresh rate on the screen could be 120Hz just as its siblings.
Camera-wise the Xiaomi Redmi K70 is said to pack a trio of cameras on the back consisting of a 50MP wide-angle camera, a 13MP ultrawide angle camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. The telephoto camera added to replace a macro lens might support 2X optical zoom. The selfie shooter will be a 20MP sensor.
When it comes to battery specifications, rumours claim that the Xiaomi Redmi K70 will pack a 5000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. Most rumours have said anything regarding the wireless charging option, so we are not certain if it will still be there or if the company have decided to remove it and increase wired charging speed instead.
Other rumoured specs and features include an IP68 rating, Dolby Vision, and a dual stereo speakers setup.
Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro Rumoured Specifications
Lastly, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro (23113RKC6C) is reportedly coming with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Being a Redmi K series phone will make it an affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 equipped phone when compared to Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro.
Speaking of display specs, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro will be powered by a 2K flat OLED panel with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate.
For optics, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro will rely on a 50MP wide camera (Sony IMX800 sensor, OIS), a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens (OmniVision OV50Dv sensor). The telephoto lens will support 3X optical zoom. The selfie snapper could be a 16MP or 20MP sensor.
Regarding the battery specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro is said to feature a 5200mAh/5100mAh battery and carry support for 100W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
Rumours also say that the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Pro will be a 24GB RAM smartphone just like Redmi K60 Ultra. The maximum storage will also be 1TB.
Regarding wireless connectivity, the Redmi K70 Pro is reported to carry support for WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.
Unlike the Xiaomi Redmi K70E, the phone maker Xiaomi is rumoured to have used a metal frame in the production of Redmi K70 and K70 Pro models.
When Is the Xiaomi Redmi K70 Series Launching?
As per reports, the Xiaomi Redmi K70 series could either launch in November end or early December in China. In other markets, these phones could launch as early as January(2024). It is also unclear if all models of the Xiaomi Redmi K70 series will launch outside of China or not. But we expect to confirm most of these details in the coming months.
