The reasons behind the cancellation of the Pro+ model have not been revealed and it is still not clear if the model has been completely killed in the Reno lineup and if we should expect it to be back in the upcoming Reno series starting with the Oppo Reno 12 series.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro Plus won’t be a member of the upcoming Reno 11 lineup
The Pro+ versions of the Reno phones have been officially introduced starting 2022 with the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ being the first “Pro+” branded Oppo Reno series phone. The same year, just 6 months later, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ was succeeded by the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+. And in May of 2023, Oppo introduced a sequel to Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ when the Oppo Reno 10 lineup was unveiled.

To recall, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ was the highest-end model of the Oppo Reno 10 series launched this year in May. It packs a flagship-level Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor coupled with 12 or 16GB of LPDDR5x memory and Adreno 730 GPU. The maximum storage of the device is 512GB.
Compared to its predecessor, the Reno 10 Pro+ comes with a better rear camera system. The 3x 64MP added to the rear camera setup ended the reign of a 2MP camera sensor which was used by a company for both Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ and Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ versions released in 2022.

The Oppo Reno 11 Pro Plus also features a 4700mAh battery which supports up to 100W fast charging. There is no support for any wireless charging technology, however, you can use this device to charge other devices using an OTG cable.
What Did We Expect About Oppo Reno 11 Pro Plus?
Based on the actual knowledge we have regarding the Pro+ versions of the Reno series smartphones, the Oppo Reno 11 Pro Plus would have come with a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor or Dimensity 9200 processor.

Both rear and front camera systems would have stayed the same.
And maybe this time, the Oppo Reno 11 Pro+ would have offered up to 1TB of storage.
Also, the Oppo 11 Pro Plus would have come with a 6.7″+ screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels.
